Finally, yes finally, my favorite IPL team: DECCAN CHARGERS win a match (after 5 continuous losses) and that too against ROYAL CHALLENGERS….! Andrew Symonds‘ hard hitting FIFTY and Suman‘s 70 odd runs helped the team in achieving the difficult target of 183. Though DC needed 9 runs in the final over – Symonds scored a 6 & 4 of 1st two balls to see DC through! Happy for DC after some sad outings…

Great to see Telugu hero: VENKATESH going to Bangalore to support the Deccan Chargers team and he is clearly seen getting excited with every boundary!
The GOD (ofreligion named: Cricket), SACHIN TENDULKAR made it real…! Double Century in a One Day International Cricket Match has been a long desired dream of all the cricketers world-wide…! Today (24th Feb’ 2010) has witnessed a world record score of 200* by our own little master: SACHIN TENDULKAR. Sachin scored an unbeaten 200* (out of 147 balls) against South Africa at Gwalior. India posted a mammoth score of 401 (for 3 wickets) for SA to chase in 50 overs! His DOUBLE CENTURY included 25 boundaries and 3 sixes!
SO HAPPY for my litttle… SACHINNNNNN TENDULKARRRRRRR! What more can we ask from this genius!

Whatever you call it: Science v/s Art or Modern v/s Conventional, the team that was least expected to win the ICC T20 WorldCup this year has entered Finals and will be playing against the winners of SriLanka v/s WestIndies match. South Africa is the obvious favorite before the tournament started and they proved it right with consecutive wins until today! They boast of a super all-round team with names like: Kallis, Gibbs, Smith, DeVilliers, etc and they bat down the order. They are the most consistent T20 team ever and they have lost in the hands of the most unpredicatble team ever. Shahid Afridi’s agressive all-round performance has out classed the class of Kallis and SA bowlers.
Pakistan team made an average score of 145 by losing 4 wickets (Afridi-51 & ShoaibMalik-34) and SA faltered in chasing it. They made 142 by losing 5 wickets (Kallis-64, Duminy-44). Afridi has bowled 4 overs, gave just 16 runs and has picked-up 2 crucial wickets of Gibbs & DeVilliers.
Though it’s sad to see SA out of the worldcup again, Pakistan’s dedication and agressiveness might make an interesting final….!

Deccan Chargers‘ captian Adam Gilchrist has produced a blinder by hitting 85 runs in just 35 balls (Ten 4′s & Five 6′s). He scored his 50 in 17 balls (Fastest 50 in IPL matches) and the innings has made Delhi’s 153 score look so small. He made the required runrate to fall from 7.9 to 5 runs per over. He has scored 25 runs of Sehwag’s over, 21 runs of Nannes’s over.
This is one of my happiest moments in life as my favorite team: Deccan Chargers is into finals of IPL season 2 (getting into finals in IPL2 after standing in 8th position in IPL1 is not a small achievement). Thanks to Gilchrist for his ruthless massacre. Though I miss VVS Laxman a lot, this match has erased all those disappointments! Deccan Chargers has chased Delhi’s score of 153 in 17.4 overs with 6 wickets in hand.
